River Walk Circuit Training is a Local Gym that offers Group Exercise classes such as Circuit Training, Boot Camps, as well as 1 on 1 Personal Training.

River Walk Circuit Training is conveniently located just a few minutes off of route 8 in the Industrial park in Seymour, CT.

We offer Personal Training or Group Exercise Boot Camps! We specialize in Weight Loss and Strength & Conditioning.

Group Classes - Get in a High Intensity Group Workout. We have several strength, toning, and cardio classes including 6am, 8:30a, 9:30am, 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm Monday through Friday. We offer Boot Camps on the Weekend.

Jonathan Gonzalez

Co-Owner, Personal Trainer and Weight Loss Expert, Class Instructor

I’ve been a personal trainer since 2007.  I graduated from WCSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology and also studied Exercise Science.  I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and also hold certifications as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) and a certification as a Youth Exercise Specialist (YES).  I also have certifications and special training in Kettlebell Training, Spinning/Cycling, TRX Suspension Training, The CT Speed School, and as a Group Exercise Instructor.

  My specialties as a trainer are Weight Loss Coaching, General Fitness and Toning, and training clients for specific events.  My most common task as a trainer is weight loss, however I have trained many people for events or sports such as the CPAT, High School/College sports, ARMY physicals, 5ks, Spartan races, Powerlifting, etc.

I have been a Personal Trainer since 2007. I joined the Fitness Industry because I wanted to help people for the better and change their lives with positive outcomes! I love helping people getting to their fitness goals! Whether it be weight loss, toning, strength gain, sports specific training, competing for events or training for Spartan Races! My goal, is to get you to your goal!

I have several fitness certifications including: National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), Renegade Training Lv 1, TRX, Kettlebell, Crossfit Lv-1, CPR & AED. Currently I am working towards getting my Precision Nutrition Lv-1 Certification. I worked as a trainer in a “big box” gym for over 5 years before going out on my own and eventually co-owning RWCT.
